BEAT PROCRASTINATION
A 30-Day Challenge

HEY WRITER, do struggle with procrastination? Yeah, I thought that might be the case. But no worries, I have a series of articles that could change your life.

First off, you’re not alone. Everyone procrastinates from time to time. Avoidance is a natural way to protect ourselves from stress, pain, fear, and other unpalatable things. If you’re facing something tough, it’s not exactly surprising if you’d rather put it off until the last possible moment.

Sadly, procrastination can become a habit and when it does it can affect things like your:

Health

Relationships

Income

Since these are very important parts of life, it’s not a good idea to let procrastination rule your behaviours, right?

The next thirty articles (yes, you read that right!) in this series will be filled with valuable information designed to educate, motivate, and give you the tools you need to help you identify why you procrastinate and what you can do about it.

Procrastination Is a Bad Habit

All habits serve us somehow. Even the bad ones. Bad habits develop when we aren’t fully aware of what’s going on deep in our subconscious minds. When we aren’t sure how to cope, we develop coping skills that get us through. Sometimes those skills aren’t the best for us. Procrastination is an excellent example.

Thankfully, since procrastination is a habit, it can be broken! That’s what this challenge is designed for. To help you morph from procrastination to progress in thirty days. Here’s what you can expect:

– Understanding what procrastination is and isn’t
– Identifying the excuses procrastinators use
– Traits common among procrastinators
– Learning about active procrastination
– Developing a proactive mindset
– Tips and tricks for becoming proactive

This challenge begins with education. It’s important to better understand what procrastination looks like and whether or not you are flirting, or are in a serious relationship, with the procrastination habit. Don’t worry, if you find that you struggle with chronic procrastination, you’ll soon have the tools you need to break free and be more proactive.

You Know You Can Beat It, Right?

It may feel like putting things off is typical behaviour for you. Don’t worry, even chronic procrastinators have the ability to flip the switch and move from procrastination to proactive.

Be kind and patient with yourself while you learn more about procrastination and what you can do to beat it.

Questions of the Day:
