Anita Varg, aka Mammanita, is a wise woman who runs a little farm shop/health clinic at The Smithy. She is married to Stig and they are raising their granddaughter, Edda, together in his ancestral home in Indal.

Anita is a serious and hard-working woman who lives to help people. She may seem cold and overly critical with her analytical mind and attention to detail. She thrives on order, systems and patterns and cannot stand chaos, mess and indecision. Asking for help is hard for her and she hates being in the spotlight.

A Motorcycle Club (MC) is the most hard-core kind of club a biker can be a member of. It takes a long time to qualify for membership and once you’re in there are rules and requirements to live up to.

MCs tend to get a bad rep. They are often referred to as gangs and seen as honey pots that attract all sorts of criminals, thugs and delinquents to their backyards. The truth is that MCs, first and foremost, are social clubs for bikers for whom the motorcycle is a lifestyle and the club is family.

Yes, it is true that all criminal/outlaw clubs are MCs, but that doesn’t mean all MCs are criminal/outlaw clubs. It’s also true that the outlaws, aka 1%-ers, tend to be sticklers for biker etiquette and protocol. They will often enforce rules and dish out punishment and swift retribution if someone steps out of line or disrespects the club, their bylaws or the biker standards.

THE ULFRHEIM WIKI is a slowly growing collection of glossary/wiki entries to help you sink your canines a little deeper into the Ulfrheim universe.

NB! The wiki may contain spoilers – you have been warned. =)

I try to list all the (potentially) new terms as the stories progress. The wiki section in my Author’s Notes folder is huge, but I won’t post entries in advance as that would give away too much of the plotlines and character arcs.

Words in the text that I believe may be new or difficult are linked to the wiki post where they are explained. Linked words are always this colour and underscored.

Let me know if the word/concept you’re looking for isn’t there and I’ll try to add it as soon as I can.
