It Tevan knew there was something off about those last few jelly vampire fangs in the bottom of last year’s Halloween sweeties jar. She shouldn’t have eaten them. But it was a gloomy Thursday afternoon, she’d missed lunch, and there they were on the stockroom shelf, just looking at her. So she just put her hand in and munched.

It was only a few moments before they munched back.

When the boss came in to close up, he found her on the floor, a gory hole in her stomach, and strange, tiny, bloody smudges in a trail out of the shop door.

No, the dullness of Eric’s last PowerPoint presentation had finally done it – finished her off for good. So why was he still going?

And that’s when she realised that hell, for her, was to be watching a middle-management presentation for all eternity…
